National Information Infrastructure - A concept conceived by the Clinton Administration and an alliance of computer, software, cable, and phone companies. The proposed concept would be the electronic network of tomorrow and would use phone line, cable systems, and high-speed data-networks to link everyone, including government agencies, universities, company presidents, and private citizens.
