			Basic Research in Industrial Technologies in Europe - 




A 1985 programme to encourage research into the development of new technologies, manufacturing processes and products in older industrial economic sectors. Renewed in 1988, it was merged with European Research in Advanced Materials (EURAM), as BRITE-EURAM.
