Dutch Company joins Global Forwarding Alliance Lift Freight Services became the most recent member of AerOceaNetwork - More and more independent companies are banding together in networks in order to help combat the global economic doldrums witnessed in many markets.
Amsterdam, Netherlands; March 2, 2009 -- Amsterdam based Lift Freight Services B.V, a respected Dutch forwarding company, recently was accepted into and joined the global logistics alliance, AerOceaNetwork (AON). AON is a non-exclusive network for professional logistics companies and international freight forwarders.
"The reason why we have chosen for AON is that we are looking for a good and reliable network, that is having a personal touch, " said Mr. Jochem Stap, managing director of Lift Freight Services, "In the last years many forwarders has become to big and stiff to serve other partners around the world. We believe in a personal contact with other partners around that world. Quick responses, flexibility and knowing each other is the beginning of a fruitful business relationship. We are located in Holland, which is one of the main hubs in Europe. From here we serve Europe as well as Africa and other continents."
The Lift Freight Service membership is a bit more than a trend. More and more independent companies are banding together in networks in order to help combat the global economic doldrums witnessed in many markets.
"With the current global malaise in the shipping industry many independents have been turning to a growing list of networks to be able to have a longer reach in the international logistics markets and Lift Freight Services is no exception, " says Ms. Pedprapar Lodgratok, membership coordinator of AerOceaNetwork, "So the key to gaining the market is to find a well developed group where the independent forwarder is not just a number. Partners on the other side of the globe should operate on a very personable basis to be able to build up long-term business."
"We have the feeling that AON can offer us these personal partners, " says Jochem Stap, "We believe that we have found the right network, that belongs to our philosophy of serving the world. As we are a young forwarder, with 14 years of personal experience in the field, we need good partners around the world. Therefore we have decided to become a AON member."
AerOceaNetwork (AON) is an international non-exclusive network for professional logistics companies and international freight forwarders who are based in every major shipping hub in the world. AON focuses on its members having more time and opportunities to develop business with each other on a one-to-one basis.
