Computer Disk ROM Drives
A CD (computer disk or compact disk) for a computer is a disk similar in function to a diskette such as a 3 1/4 diskette, but which uses compact disk technology to store large amounts (600 mbs) of read-only data. A CD ROM drive is the computer hardware that allows the PC to access and use the data stored on a CD. |
